Travelling around South America has taught a lot about life, seeing this part of the world again has kind of made me realize the importance of life, I grew up in South America, Bolivia but I left this continent when I was 17, I went to Asia to study and been there for 8 years, 8 years of my life I have been living a comfortable life, something that has changed me, it made me different, it kind of detached me from the reality, it made me forget where I come from and also made me appreciate things less and take things for granted, without even realizing that people do have more problems than me, granted everybody has problems and everybody deal their problems differently, seeing things here made me realize how fortunate I am and made me realize that I still have things to do, things to achieve and that somehow I am not really wasting my life doing unimportant things, it made me realize that I can make a difference. People here in South America don’t have the privilege people have in those rich countries, people work their ass off, well there might be people who don’t work as hard and they are usually portrayed by the media, but the humble people that aren’t portrayed by the media are the ones that are truly and inspiration, something that the media cannot ignored. These people are the hope of South America and the hope of the developing world as well.
