My last week here in Paraguay so I decided to wake up early and do all the things I have to do before I leave, tidy up my stuffs, get things sorted, buy some stuff and see as much as I can before leave, so waking up early today, well that was early compare to the times I usually wake up. For the past few weeks, I have been waking up after 12 o’clock but today I woke up at 7 in the morning. Maybe waking up that early caused me a bit of a lapse of intelligence, I mean I know my math isn’t the greatest, I can’t compare myself with Einstein but I am smart enough to see when someone is trying to trick me. Went to the bus terminal to buy my return ticket to Sao Paulo, fair enough, the ticket was cheaper than buying from there but then I only had Brazilian currency so I ask if I could pay him in REAL so he did, but you could see his smirk, something was wrong, I inquired about how much is that in Paraguayan Dollar and he told me, well there is a lot of difference, after ticketing me the ticket I look at the ticket and it was priced in Paraguayan Dollar, man he was going to try to charge me in REAL and change the money himself, bastard, I told him to give me back my money and went outside to change my own money. I saved some money, yeah I have to be frugal I haven’t worked in more than 2 months, so a lapse of intelligence might not be a great thing to suffer at this stage of my journey or ever, not until I get some proper money back into my bank.
